ABOUT

BOOK OFF! is a fun and entertaining podcast presented by Joe Haddow. Each episode sees two authors go head to head in a war of the words, pitching a book they love and think that everyone should read. The writers only have 3 minutes in which to pitch their book, and only one will be chosen.

The guests also discuss their own work, their writing and what they have enjoyed reading recently. It's a podcast for literary lovers who are looking for great book recommendations.

First launched in 2017 and now in its ninth series, previous guests have included David Tennant, Richard Osman, Pam Ayres, Simon Mayo, Tracy Thorn, Maggie O'Farrell, Tracy Chevalier, Dorothy Koomson, Leila Slimani, John Cooper Clark, Katy Brand, Brett Anderson, Candice Carty-Williams, David Mitchell, Jackie Kay, Bryonny Gordon, Oyinkan Braithwaite, Paula Hawkins, John Boyne, Kit de Waal, Michael Connelly and Ian Rankin.
